- The Church Chatter -
November 2007 Issue 1
Welcome to all who come to worship...
"Let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice" (Psalm 105:3, NRSV)
Let us rejoice as we present ourselves before our loving Creator. Welcome to this house of God without walls.
They will celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. (Psalm 145:7)
Hello there,
I hope that you enjoy this first issue of our newsletter though it will be brief. If you have any events and ideas, let us know and we'll be glad to add them to this newsletter and expand it as necessary. Since this is the first Chatter newsletter, we need all the input that we can get for future issues. Remember, your newsletter is only e-mailed to you if you subscribe. We must have your correct e-mail address. We are not mailing any newsletters at this time.
We're really excited about what is happening at the church and how the ministry is growing. Cooperation seems to be the key and we thank the Lord for granting this help.
If you would like to add your link to our website, please contact us and we'll be glad to do this for you and a reciprocating link would be greatly appreciated. This also seems to be a great way to network other churches, organizations and ministries. Praise the Lord for his guidance and sending me wonderful people like you to help with the church and the ministry.
It looks like we have a temporary brick and mortar storefront that we can use for worship, weddings, baptisms or whatever may be required by the congregation at this time. The landlord is trying to work out something that will make it beneficial for all concerning at this time, this includes temporarily renting the space as we need it for church events. The church can't afford a full time lease right now. The store is only about 750 sq. ft., but it is in a nice location and easy access, though the parking is tight. With a few chairs and other key furniture, it should work out well for our needs. Ask and ye shall receive. Lord, thank You for Your blessing. I was so surprised when I talked to the landlord and he was willing to work something out temporarily. Now we just have to hope that somebody won't come along and want to rent the space out full time.
Now with a more permanent location, the ministry can set about doing the work of the Lord. First things first, we must get bibles and hymn books. If anyone has any ideas where these can be found at a very reasonable (cheap) price - free is good, all information is helpful. Praise the Lord that this may come to fruition also. I'm sure with His help all things will come as per His plan.
On the website, you will notice many new changes and additions. We strive to keep up with our congregational needs. We have a new church store and items will be going up on the site very soon. I've written my first sermon and it is posted on the website also. Check out the web and you'll see the many new additions, hope you like them. We, the staff and I, want this to be a place for all to come and worship whether here on the net in the church without walls where you are only a mouse click away, or in our newly found location in Cape Coral, Florida. Remember, we do "mouse calls".
Yours in Christ, Rev. Paula King
